Cake smash sessions in my in-home studio are a fun and memorable way to celebrate your baby’s first birthday. I provide all backdrops, decorations, outfits, and simple props to bring your chosen theme to life in a clean, cohesive style. The only thing you’ll need to bring is the cake! Each session begins with more posed, classic portraits before transitioning into the cake smash for a mix of timeless and fun images.
Cake smash sessions are designed for babies who are one year old and are baby-only sessions. Parents and siblings are not included during cake smash sessions, allowing the focus to remain entirely on your little one. Family and sibling portraits are offered exclusively during newborn sessions.

Cake smash sessions are typically scheduled around your baby’s first birthday. Many families choose to photograph the session a few weeks before the big day so images are ready in time for celebrating! Others schedule the session right at baby's first birthday or close to around that day.
WHEN SHOULD I SCHEDULE MY SESSION?
Outfits should be cute, comfy, and smash-approved! Simple outfits photograph best, and I’m happy to help with styling suggestions to match your chosen theme. I also have many outfits for use as well.
WHAT should baby WEAR?
All cake smash sessions take place in my home studio with a clean, neutral setup that keeps the focus on your little one (and the cake!).
where do sessions take place?
Booking early is always recommended—especially if you want photos ready for invitations or birthday decor. My calendar fills quickly.
WHEN SHOULD I BOOK YOU?
Cake smash sessions are offered in-studio only at this time.

HOW CAN I GET A QUOTE?
A signed contract and paid retainer are required to officially secure your session date. Spots cannot be held without both of these things.
