Newborn photography isn’t just my profession — it’s my passion and a responsibility I take seriously. These images tell the beginning of your family’s story and are meant to be cherished for generations.
To provide a personalized experience, I accept a limited number of newborn sessions each month and recommend booking during your second trimester, as availability often fills months in advance. It would be an honor to capture your baby’s first moments.
WHY IT MATTERS
I specialize in professional, posed, studio newborn photography in St. Louis and the surrounding areas, with a focus on capturing the tiniest details of your baby’s earliest days. Since beginning my career in 2014, I’ve had the honor of photographing over 1,000 newborns and creating timeless, heirloom-quality images for growing families.
Each session is calm, baby-led, and thoughtfully guided, with newborn safety always my top priority. My work has been recognized as #1 Newborn Photographer in St. Louis in the 2023 St. Louis Magazine A-List Awards and has received multiple awards and publications.
WHAT I DO
Completed our family in February 2016 when we welcomed our third & final daughter, Quinn. I also moved studios in May 2016, and this is where Stephanie Mueller Photography calls home.

Had my second daughter, Kendall, in March 2014. Immersed myself in studying & learning everything newborn photography, and officially launched Stephanie Mueller Photography in late summer 2014!

We went to college together, and met at freshman orientation, but did not get together until our junior year. We have been together ever since, and were married in the summer of 2009.

I always loved numbers, so I majored in Accounting in college. I also always had a passion for taking photos...never in a million years thought I'd become a newborn photographer!

My favorite things begin with my little family — my husband, Nate, our three daughters (Colby, Kendall & Quinn), and our fur daughter, Cleo, who we adopted during Covid and instantly stole our hearts. I’m a mint-green lover through and through, firmly team Diet Pepsi, and I unwind most nights with a game (or five) of Candy Crush Saga. I love crossword puzzles, trivia, and watching game shows. My favorite TV show ever is The Golden Girls. My favorite singers are Thomas Rhett, Post Malone & Nelly! I’m happiest with sand between my toes, ocean air in my lungs, and a camera in my hands, because one of my very favorite things will always be newborn photography and capturing the fleeting, love-filled beginnings of a family’s story.
